"I wanted to do something special for the cover of my PhD thesis. I am not a very creative person and I had close to no ideas except that I wanted something that would reflect the topic of my thesis (biology of cellular aging) and my personality. I had seen some of the artwork of Nancy so I asked her to help me. Nancy is friendly, approachable and excels in conversation. I never realised that during what it seemed like a normal conversation getting to know a bit about me she had actually gathered tons of information to put on the design she made for me. A few days later she showed me a bold and beautiful computer design that was scientifically accurate and reflected my personality, my personal history and the love for my country in a way I could not have described myself. Afterwards she turned the design into a oleum painting that was even better. I cried a bit when I saw my thesis with a picture of that painting on the cover. I literally had people asking me for copies of my thesis and received two emails from professors saying it was the most beautiful cover they had ever seen. The painting is still on my living room gathering compliments."

I’m very happy with the cover illustration. Working with Nancy was a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish. She is extremely creative, listened carefully to my ideas, and translated them into a beautiful piece of art that truly exceeded my expectations. I still enjoy seeing the artwork every day at home.
